Responsibilities
Below is an overview of the main responsibilities you’ll take on in this role.
Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with the brand's overall marketing and business objectives. This includes setting goals, defining target audiences, identifying key messaging themes, and selecting appropriate social media platforms.
Create engaging content for social media channels, including text, images, videos, and interactive elements. Ensure that content is aligned with brand voice, values, and guidelines.
Oversee community engagement efforts, including responding to comments, messages, and mentions on social media in a timely and professional manner. Foster positive interactions with followers, address inquiries or concerns, and manage customer feedback effectively.
Monitor, analyze, and report on key social media metrics and performance indicators to track the effectiveness of social media efforts and inform strategic decision-making. Identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization and improvement.
Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, communications, content, design, and product to align social media initiatives with broader marketing and business initiatives. Coordinate social media activities with other departments to ensure consistency and integration across channels.
Develop and execute influencer marketing strategies to collaborate with relevant influencers and thought leaders to amplify brand reach, engagement, and credibility. Identify and nurture relationships with influencers who align with the brand's values and target audience.
Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in social media marketing. Experiment with new features, formats, and strategies to keep the brand's social media presence fresh, engaging, and relevant.
Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, freelancers, or consultants involved in social media activities, such as content creators, influencers, advertising platforms, or analytics providers. Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and objectives are achieved within budget and timeline constraints.
Ensure social media activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry guidelines, including data privacy, advertising standards, copyright, and intellectual property rights. Stay updated on legal and regulatory developments that may impact social media practices and mitigate legal risks accordingly.
Qualifications
The following are the key qualifications and attributes we believe are essential for success in this position.
Education:
Min. Bachelor's Degree in Literature/Marketing/Management/Finance/DKV or other related fields.
Experience:
Min. 1 year of experience as Social Media Specialist/Social Media Strategist/Content Specialist/Copywriter with a proven portfolio in strategizing, executing, and managing social media of a company with increased awareness and conversions.
Come from a creative agency background and familiar with the digital product environment, preferably in the fintech sector.
Additional Knowledge:
Understanding of the global economy and its correlation with the FX market is an advantage.
Experience/understanding of the financial and technology sector, especially investment (forex, stocks, crypto, mutual funds, etc).
Basic understanding of design principles, visual communication, and creative process. Having this knowledge could help in facilitating collaboration with and giving feedback to respective teams accordingly, to create the most eye-catching visuals for social media posts, ads, and other promotional materials.
Basic understanding of Marketing and Advertising principle, to be able in comprehending target audiences, brand messaging, and marketing strategies in order to create graphic designs that effectively communicate marketing messages and engage viewers.
Basic knowledge of data analytics and the software utilization (such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics) for tracking and analyzing the performance of social media campaigns including interpreting data, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions to optimize your strategy – using Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, and others.
Email Marketing Knowledge, while not directly related to social media, email marketing often integrates with social media campaigns. Knowledge of email marketing platforms like Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or HubSpot can be beneficial for coordinating cross-channel marketing efforts.
Basic understanding of Cybersecurity principles and best practices, for safeguarding your social media accounts and sensitive data as the prevalence of cyber threats and data privacy concerns are increasing.
