Responsibilities
Below is an overview of the main responsibilities you’ll take on in this role.
Implement state-of-the-art tools & policies to encourage improved (efficient & effective) workflow for teams to run their operations.
Design, build, maintain, and monitor highly available, reliable and secure production systems.
Implement automated tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines).
Automate existing processes to speed up work.
Design and develop automated scripts, as well as testing.
Research new technologies to improve and optimize our infrastructure.
Provision resources required by the Engineering Team.
Maintain database-related Security, Tuning, and Provisioning (SQL & NoSQL).
Qualifications
The following are the key qualifications and attributes we believe are essential for success in this position.
Experience:
Minimum 1 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Strong Linux/system administration background.
Have knowledge of AWS and Alibaba Cloud.
Strong skills to manage source code is a plus.
Skilled in one or more programming languages (prefer Golang and/or Python) is a plus.
Can architect a solid infrastructure built for scalability, resilience, security, and cost is a plus.
Ability to present and communicate the architecture in a visual form.
Have knowledge of Gitlab, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, and Web-Server (Nginx, etc). - Ability to understand risk management, clustering, load balancing, and failover.
Skilled in Bash scripting and general Linux commands.
Has the ability to observe logs to trace issues.
Skilled in Database-related availability, reliability and security.
Experienced in using tools/frameworks for modern infrastructure provisioning, monitoring and application deployment.
Soft Skills Criteria:
Excellent communication & collaboration skills.
