Responsibilities
Below is an overview of the main responsibilities you’ll take on in this role.
Design Around End-to-End Process Flow
Organize digital layouts by end-to-end finance processes. Ensure each process has:
A single digital entry point
Clear handoffs between steps
Visibility of status and ownership
Eliminate duplicate data entry across processes.
Standardized Layout & Navigation
Use consistent screen layouts, naming conventions, and workflows across all finance modules. Standardize:
Chart of accounts structure
Cost center and project hierarchies
Approval paths and exception handling
Apply “one-click rule” where key actions and reports are accessible within minimal steps.
Automation & Innovation
Establish automation governance, standards, and reusability frameworks.
Identify opportunities for advanced analytics, predictive forecasting, and real-time reporting.
Encourage adoption of digital tools that enhance productivity and insight generation.
Change Management & Adoption
Lead finance digital change management and user adoption strategies.
Partner with HR and IT to upskill finance teams in digital tools and data literacy.
Communicate digital benefits clearly to finance and business stakeholders.
Address resistance to change and ensure sustained adoption.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
Ensure digital finance processes comply with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Embed internal controls within digital workflows.
Oversee audit readiness and control testing in automated environments.
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as key liaison between Finance, IT, Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
Manage relationships with system vendors, consultants, and implementation partners.
Present progress, risks, and value realization to senior leadership.
Qualifications
The following are the key qualifications and attributes we believe are essential for success in this position.
Strategic Leadership. The role ensures seamless, efficient, compliant, and scalable finance operations aligned with business strategy and define and own the finance digitalization vision aligned with business and finance strategy.
Candidate must have a strong background in Information Technology or a related technical field, such as IT, Computer Science, Information System, Data Analytics, Business Technology Management
Hands on exposure to :
ERP System (SAP, Oracle, XERO, or equivalent)
System integrations, data flows, and architecture design
Automation tools (RPA, workflow platforms, low-code/no-code solutions)
Strong understanding of:
IT governance, system security, and access controls
Change management and system deployment methodologies (Agile / Waterfall)
